Linda Coverdale

Linda Coverdale has a Ph.D. in French Studies from the Johns Hopkins University and has translated more than sixty-five books. A Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, she has won the French-American Foundation Translation Prize, the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, and the Scott Moncrieff Prize. Her translation of Lyonel Trouillot's Street of Lost Footsteps was short-listed for the PEN/Book-of-the-Month Club Translation Prize.
