Lee Hyemi

Lee Hyemi (b. 1988) is the author of three poetry collections and an essay collection. At eighteen, she was one of the youngest winners of the JoongAng Literary Newcomer’s Prize. Lee is currently a PhD student in Korean literature at Korea University. Her second collection Unexpected Vanilla, translated into English by Soje and published by Tilted Axis Press, was shortlisted for the 2021 National Translation Award in Poetry.
