Lily-Amber Laila Wadia is a novelist, playwright and poet, born in India and living in Italy where she works at the University of Trieste. Her publications include: Il burattinaio e altre storie extra-italiane (Cosmo Iannone, 2004); Pecore Nere (AAVV. Laterza, 2005); Amiche per la pelle (Edizioni E/O, 2007), which was adapted for the screen in 2015 as Babylon Sisters; Come diventare italiani in 24 ore (Barbera, 2010); and Se tutte le donne (Barbera, 2012).
