Kathleen McCaul Moura worked as a journalist for the BBC and Al Jazeera before publishing two novels. Her nonfiction has appeared in the London Review of Books, Granta, and the Guardian, among other publications. She is the editor of Megacity and is currently working on a novel based on her experience of living in São Paulo, funded by CHASE research board.
