Judith Kiros (b. 1989) debuted in 2019 with the acclaimed poetry book O, which was nominated for Sveriges Radio’s Lyric Prize, the Katapult Prize, and Borås Tidning’s Debut Prize. Kiros is also active as a translator and critic, and holds a doctorate in English literature from Karlstad University.
In 2023, she was nominated for the Prisma Prize and received SvD’s Literature Prize and the Mare Kandre Prize for the poetry collection Det röda är det gränslösa. In 2024, she was awarded the Sveriges Radio Lyric Prize and received a working scholarship from Albert Bonnier’s scholarship fund for younger and newer writers.
