Joonas Konstig

Joonas Konstig (b. 1977) is an author and father to two girls. He also teaches creative writing. Konstig won second prize in the Martti Joenpolvi Short Story Competition in 2008. His debut work, Ahneet ja viattomat [The Greedy and the Innocent], was nominated for the Helsingin Sanomat Literature Prize for the best debut work of the year, and for the Tiiliskivi Prize in 2008. Konstig was awarded the Kalle Päätalo Prize for his second book, Kaikki on sanottu [All Is Said], in 2012. Konstig’s third novel, Totuus naisista [The Truth about Women], was published in February 2013.
