A regular contributor to the Times Literary Supplement, Context, the Yale Review, and the Antioch Review (in which his “Poetry Today” column often focuses on translation), John Taylor is the author of a two-volume set of essays: Paths to Contemporary French Literature (Transaction Publishers, 2004 / 2007).
His other books include a volume of poems and short prose, The Apocalypse Tapestries (Xenos Books, 2004), and four collections of stories and short prose (published by Story Line Press and Cedar Hill Publications). Transaction has just reissued his Into the Heart of European Poetry in a new paperback edition. He has lived in France since 1977.
