Helle Helle

Since finishing at the Danish Writers School in Copenhagen in 1991, Helle Helle has published three novels, three short-story collections, and achildren's book. Her work has been translated into seven languages. Among the many awards received by her critically-acclaimed novel Rødby/Puttgarden (2005) are the literature prize from the Danish National Arts Fund and one of the three nominations for the prestigious BG Bank Literature Award in Denmark. She lives west of Copenhagen, on the island of Sealand.
