Hassan Khader is a Palestinian writer whose most recent publication is an autobiography, in Arabic, called Land of the Deer (2003). Other works include Identity of the Other and The Rise and Development of the Palestinian Elite. He is the managing editor of the literary periodical Alkarmel.
