Gabriel Magaña Merlo

Gabriel Magaña was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in 1944. He has published four books of poetry in Mexico and numerous poems in various magazines. Insumiso al rostro, a selection of poems from all of his books, will be published by the Universidad Veracruzana in 2009. His book La Nada en Bruto has been translated into French by the poet Franc Ducros and published in France as Le rien rugueux (Théétete editions). Translations of his poems have also been published in the magazine Prevue poésie littérature esthétique of the Université Paul-Valéry—MontPellier III.
