Franziska Gerstenberg

Franziska Gerstenberg, born in Dresden in 1979, studied at the Institute for German Literature in Leipzig and lives in Hannover. She was the co-editor of the literary magazine EDIT and has received numerous scholarships and awards, most recently the state of Lower Saxony's Award for Most Promising Writer. She was awarded the 2007 Heinrich Heine Scholarship for an excerpt from Solche Geschenke.
