François Vallejo

François Vallejo teaches literature in Le Havre. He is the author of seven previous novels, all published with Éditions Viviane Hamy, most of which have won major literary awards: Madame Angeloso won the Prix France Télévisions 2001; Groom won both the Prix des Libraires 2004 and the Prix Culture et Bibliothèques pour tous 2004; Le Voyage des grands hommes won the Prix Pierre Mac Orlan 2005, the Prix Roman du Var 2005, and the Prix de l'Académie du Maine 2005; and Ouest won the Prix Livre Inter 2007, the Prix Giono 2006, and the Prix du meilleur roman adaptable Carte Noir 2007. It was also shortlisted for Goncourt and Renaudot.
