In the 1990s, he was a student of Jacques Derrida and Sarah Kofman, and in 2007, he completed a postdoctoral degree in philosophy at the Free University of Berlin. He has taught and given lectures at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, the University of Paris, and the University of Vienna, among others.
