Eva Rún Snorradóttir

Eva Rún Snorradóttir is a theater artist and a writer. She has been working with independent theater groups since 2009, mostly with a group of three women, called Kviss búmm bang. They travelled a lot with their “Extended life“ performances. Eva Rún published her first poetry book in 2013. In her writings she explores two things in particular, firstly heteronormality and the performativity of everyday life, and secondly the experiences of girls and women, of friendship, sex and general life mess. Her fourth book, Homo Romantic, was published in the fall of 2021. She teaches and mentors at The Icelandic Art Academy and is now writing a theater piece for the City Theater of Reykjavík.
