Elizabeth (Chamberlain) Polli has been the Spanish Language Program Director at Dartmouth College, Hanover, N.H., since 1998. She began translating for the film industry in Madrid, Spain, in 1986 but later returned to the U.S. to complete her Ph.D. at Columbia University (1997). Recent translations include poetry by Ana Merino and Sergio Chejfec, and prose works by Ana Merino, José María Merino, and Fritz Glockner.
