Cristina Lambert was born in Argentina and moved to New York City with her family at thirteen. She taught French and Spanish for many years at the County College of Morris in New Jersey and is now retired. She translated “Looking at Photographs” from English into Spanish for the Museum of Modern Art.
She has published translations of a chapter from the historical novel Where Camila O’Gorman in Shadow Dreams by the Argentine surrealist poet Enrique Molina and several short stories in Beacons, the literary magazine of the American Translators Association, and also translated five short stories for the anthology Buenos Aires Noir.
