Cristhiano Aguiar is a writer and essayist. Born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, in 1981, he has lived in Recife, Berlin, Olinda, São Paulo, and Berkeley. In 2012, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Berkeley, California. Aguiar is also a doctoral candidate at the Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo.
