. He is a member of the Romanian Writers' Union and has published three books of poetry:
câinele, femeia şi ocheada / the dog, the woman and the glance (Iaşi: Timpul 2000),
floarea cu o singură petală / the flower with one petal (Iaşi: Junimea, 2002) and
acelaşi cer ce nu e / the same sky that isn't (Bucharest: Vinea, 2006). His poetry has been translated into German (by Oskar Pastior and by Ernest Wichner), Spanish (by Joaquin Garrigós) and Slovenian (by Ale… Mustar). He has been awarded the Bucharest Writers' Association Prize (2001), the Hubert Burda Prize for Young East European Poets (Heidelberg, 2003), and three literary fellowships in Germany. His poetry has been published in
Ziua Literară, Literatorul, Paradigma, Tomis, Poezia, Poesis, Viaţa Românească, Ziarul de Duminică, Tribuna, Mozaicul, Bucureştiul Cultural, Manuskripte, Akzente, Schreibheft, Die Horen, Wespennest, Empireuma, and
Cuadernos del Ateneo. He has translated articles by Jean Harris for
Observator Cultural and
Bucureştiul Cultural. Together with Jean Harris, he is currently translating

Iarna Bărbaţilor / Winter of the Men by Ştefan Bănulescu and
Corpuri de iluminat / Dark Bodies by Stelian Tănase. Fragments from these translations have appeared respectively in
