Arthur Greenspan has been a professional translator for over thirty years, publishing regularly in both French and English. His translations include a number of works by James M. Cain, Robert B. Parker, and Val McDermid, as wel as Édouard Daladier's Prison Diary, Laurent Olivier's The Dark Abyss of Time, and numerous subtitled films. He splits his time between Maine, where he teaches French film and twentieth-century literature at Colby College, and Paris, where he leads the good life.
