Ana Quiroga

Ana Quiroga is the author of the short-story collections Dormir juntos una noche (2002), El poeta que sangra (2004), El muchacho muerto (2014), and Breve postergación (2007), which was launched at the Feria del Libro in Havana, Cuba, and received honorable mention in the 2007 Premio Literario Casa de las Américas....

Her short stories have also been published in the anthologies Crímenes de arena (Centro Cultural de la Cooperación, 2016) and Persistencia. Ficción Breve escrita por mujeres (Outsider, 2017). She has contributed to the newspaper La Prensa and the literary magazines Planeta UrbanoProaLa Mujer de mi vidaLetras Femeninas, and Puro Cuento. From 2001–06, she developed and directed the literature section of the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires (Malba), and in 2008 she launched the Victoria Ocampo Project artist residency. She was a cultural consultant at the HAY Festival (Cartagena), the British Council, and the Mapfre Foundation (Madrid). In January 2016, she was a judge for the Casa de las Américas Award in the short story category. She currently coordinates literary workshops and teaches writing at the Universidad de Belgrano.
