Álvaro Baquero-Pecino is an Assistant Professor at the College of Staten Island of The City University of New York. He was an editorial board member of the literary journal Letra Clara, and one of the co-founders of the literary journal Arenas Blancas. His essays and short stories have been published in anthologies, volumes, and journals from Spain, Latin America, and the US.
