Ahd Niazy is a PhD student in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on contemporary Arab women’s writing and its impact on culture and gender norms in the region. Ahd is also the founder and editor-in-chief of Jahanamiya, an online literary magazine publishing writing by Saudi women.
