Marco Arnaudo was born and grew up in Cuneo, Italy. He has a PhD in Italian Literature from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, and a PhD in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University. Currently he is an assistant professor at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he regularly teaches classes about Baroque literature, seventeenth- and eighteenth-century theater, Italian immigration, detectives and spies in fiction, and history of the superhero genre.
