Lauren Goldenberg is the site director of Hawthornden Brooklyn, a new writers’ residency in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. Until recently, she was deputy director of the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library for nine years.
A former book scout and bookseller, she has published author interviews and book reviews in the Los Angeles Review of Books and Jewish Currents, among other publications. A lifelong New Yorker raised with French and some Romanian, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.
