Juan Forn (Buenos Aires, 1959) worked as an editor at Planeta and director of the literary supplement of Pagina.
His books include the novels Corazones (Hearts, 1987), Frivolidad (Frivolity, 1995), Puras mentiras (Pure lies, 2001), and María Domecq (2007); the short-story collection Nadar de noche (Swimming at night, 1991); and the collections of crónicas La tierra elegida (The chosen land, 2005), Ningún hombre es una isla (No man is an island, 2009), and Los viernes (Fridays, 2015 and 2016).
