Joel Streicker’s translations of stories by Samanta Schweblin, Ricardo Silva Romero, and Luis Fayad have or are scheduled to appear in The Bitter Oleander, Two Lines, and Subtropics. His translation of an extract of the novel Coleccionistas de polvos raros, by Pilar Quinanta, will appear next year in Gargoyle. His book reviews have appeared in The Forward and other publications. Streicker holds a PhD in anthropology from Stanford University.
