Fadma Farras (Tamri, Agadir, Morocco, 1991) is an Amazigh-language writer and a researcher in Amazigh culture and literature.
Currently serving as the secretary general of the Tira Association, an alliance of writers in Amazigh, she has earned several prestigious awards, including the 2018 Morocco Book Award from the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication for her novel Askwti n Tlkkawt (The Millstone of Fractures); the 2023 National Prize for Amazigh Culture in the novel category, awarded by the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture, for her book Tilffighin (Blisters/Cloques); the 2017 Amazigh Culture Prize from the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture in 2017 for her poetry collection Uddimn n Marur (Drops of Mirage); and the Tira Association’s National Amazigh Literature Prize for her novel Ddaw Ucḍaḍ n Tcaga Nnm (Under the Fringes of Your Suffering). She has published six novels, two short story collections, and one poetry collection.
