Boryana Neykova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1992. Her primary and middle school education was accomplished at the National Music School Lyubomir Pipkov with specialty in playing piano and harp. After that she graduated the from the Spanish high school Miguel de Cervantes. She has a university degree in journalism from Sofia University.
At the moment she works as a social media specialist. She has won the national competitions for best essay sponsored by Bulgarian National Radio, Capital magazine, and others. In 2014 she won the first prize from the National Youth Competition with her poem “Dog.” Her debut collection “Where There Was Briefly a Dog” (Janet 45, 2015) received an award at the elite South Spring Competition. In December 2016, Boryana was one of the guests of the International Literature Festival in Sofia.
