Mark Ford (1962 - ) poet, critic and Professor at University College London, Ford is one of the leading voices of his generation. Cosmopolitan in his verse, as well as in his academic work (he has written on Roussel, Perec, Marinetti ... ) Ford has taken part in Sarah Maguire's Poetry Translation Centre—whose poet-translator pairings partnered Ford with Sudanese poet Al-Saddiq Al-Raddi. His collections are Landlocked (Chatto, 1992) and Soft Sift, (Harcourt Brace, 2003).
