Yael Hedaya

Yael Hedaya was born in Jerusalem in 1964. She has worked as a screenwriter for the acclaimed Israeli TV drama series Betipul (In Treatment), which was adapted for the United States and currently airs on HBO. She is the author of Dramatis Persona, Housebroken, and Accidents, which was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award in 2006. Her latest novel, Eden, will be published in 2008. She teaches creative writing at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
