Vajesinh Pargi (1963–2023) was one of the most powerful Adivasi poets from Gujarat. Like so many other Adivasi and Dalit writers, he suffered active discrimination from his peers and lived, wrote, and died on the margins of “mainstream” Gujarati literature.
