Tejubehan is a singer and self-taught urban folk artist from Ahmedabad in western India. She comes from a community of wandering musicians. After moving from her village to the city, Tejubehan married Ganesh Jogi, and the two began singing together. A chance encounter with a contemporary Indian artist led both to art. Tejubehan is the author of Drawing from the City (Tara Books, 2012).
