Krisztina Tóth (1967) is one of Hungary’s most highly acclaimed poets and writers. She has published many volumes of poetry, several collections of short stories and children’s books, and a novel, Aquarium, which figured on the shortlist of the German Internationaler Literaturpreis in 2015.
Tóth is the winner of many prestigious awards, her works having been translated into more than ten languages. Her short story collection Pixel is forthcoming in English (Seagull Books). She lives in Budapest where, apart from writing, she leads seminars on creative writing. She is a noted translator of literary fiction, children’s literature and song lyrics from French.
