Kalpana Raina is a senior executive with extensive financial and management experience in the US and internationally. She was an executive vice-president with BNY Mellon, a global financial services company.
Kalpana currently serves on the boards of Information Services Group, Words Without Borders, and the advisory board of Impact Investment Exchange. Previously she was on the boards of Yellow Media Group, John Wiley and Sons, RealNetworks Inc., the World Policy Institute, The World Music Institute, and the Center For Communications.
Her collaborative translation project of stories from the Kashmiri language, For Now, It Is Night, was published in Winter 2023 by Harper Collins in India and Spring 2024 by Archipelago Press in the United States.
