Read More  Specializing in Pacific writing, she translated Chantal Spitz’s Ile des rêves écrasés into English (as Island of Shattered Dreams, Huia Books, 2007) and Moetai Brotherson’s Le Roi absent (The Missing King, Little Island Press, 2012), along with numerous short pieces for journals and anthologies. She has also co-translated into French eight of New Zealand writer Patricia Grace’s books, from Baby No Eyes (Les Yeux volés, 2006) to Cousins (Cousines, 2024), all with Au vent des îles, Tahiti.
