Faridoun Farrokh was born and educated in Iran, where he began a teaching career, initially in schools and later at the universities in Shiraz and Mashhad, his hometown, after completing graduate studies in the US. Currently, he is a professor of English at Texas A&M International University, where he has taught for the past sixteen years.
