Evando Nascimento (b. Camacã, Bahia) is the author of the books Retrato Desnatural (Record, 2008), Cantos do Mundo (Record, 2011, Portugal Telecom Award finalist), and Cantos Profanos (Globo, 2014), as well as many essays.
