Dedi Felman is a writer and director born and raised in New Jersey.
A devotee of global politics and adventure, she co-founded www.wordswithoutborders.org, a post-“Axis of Evil” collaboration that threw open the doors to a “many voices, one world” literary conversation. Dedi attended the UCLA Professional Program in Screenwriting and was in the inaugural class of the HBO Access Writing Fellowship. Her latest venture, launched with partner Hollie Overton, is Genre Masters, an educational company devoted to taking the mystery out of writing genre books. Her espionage drama short, “Allegiance,” was a finalist at the USA Film Festival and voted a Kickstarter “Project We Love.” She is currently working on two feature films, American Holler, a heist movie, and a contained sci-fi drama, The Immortalists.
