David Reeve has been visiting Indonesia for over forty years, as a diplomat, historian, researcher, lecturer, language teacher, and program manager. He is currently working on a biography of the Indonesian historian Ong Hok Ham, and on encouraging Australian university students to spend part of their degree program at Indonesian universities.
