Arka Chattopadhyay teaches literature, philosophy and psychoanalysis in the department of Humanities and Social Sciences in IIT Gandhinagar, India. He is also a fiction writer in Bengali. He is the author of the monograph Beckett, Lacan and the Mathematical Writing of the Real (Bloomsbury, 2018) and of a Bengali novel titled Uponyosto (Boibhashik 2018).
