Ariadna Castellarnau (Lleida, 1979) studied Spanish Language and Literature and Comparative Literature at the University of Barcelona. From 2009 to 2016, she lived in Buenos Aires, where she worked as a cultural reporter for the country’s main journalistic outlets.
Her articles appeared in Página12 and Perfil, and also in the magazines Anfibia (Argentina) and Etiqueta Negra (Peru). Her short stories are included in the anthologies Panorama (Interzona) and Extrema Ficción (Antologías TRaviesa). Her first novel, Burn, was published by Gog y Magog (Argentina) and won the Las Américas International Prize for the best Latin American Novel in 2015. In 2017, it was translated into French by Parisian publisher Editions de l’Ogre.
