Translator and poet Andriana Mastor holds a B.A. in English from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in Comparative Literature from UCLA, where she studied ancient Greek and classical Chinese. Her poems have been published in Pomegranate Seeds: An Anthology of Greek-American Poetry. In 2008, Columbia University awarded her the Drenka Willen Prize for poetry in translation for her translations of George Seferis and Yiannis Ritsos.
