Shabnam Nadiya grew up in Jahangirnagar, a small college campus in Bangladesh. She has an MFA from and was the 2013–14 Schulze Fellow at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and is currently working on a collection of linked stories called Pariah Dog and Others.
