Agnès Agboton is a philologist and scholar of the Beninese oral tradition. She has published two bilingual Gun/Spanish poetry books in Spain, Canciones del poblado y el exilio (2006) and Voz de las dos orillas (2009). She represented Benin at the Poetry Parnassus in London.
