Tiina Nunnally

Tiina Nunnally has translated over forty books from the Scandinavian languages into English, including three novels by Klas Östergren: Gentlemen, Gangsters, and The Hurricane Party. She has won numerous prizes for her work, including the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize and the PEN/Book-of-the-Month Club Translation Prize....

Her translation of The Royal Physician's Visit by Per Olov Enquist was shortlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2003. She has also held a Translation Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Nunnally makes her living as a literary translator and frequently gives lectures and workshops on translation. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
