Heinz Insu Fenkl
Heinz Insu Fenkl is an author, editor, translator, folklorist, and professor of creative writing at the State University of New York, New Paltz. His fiction includes Memories of My Ghost Brother, an autobiographical novel about growing up in Korea as a biracial child in the 1960s. He was a Barnes and Noble "Great New Writer" in 1996 and Pen/Hemingway finalist in 1997. Currently, he is on the editorial board of AZALEA: Journal of Korean Literature & Culture, published by Harvard University's Korea Institute. His most recent book, Korean Folktales, was published by Bo-Leaf Books.
