Christina MacSweeney

Christina MacSweeney began her translation studies while living in Caracas. She now has an MA in Literary Translation, specializing in Latin American fiction, from the University of East Anglia and lives in Norwich. Among her previous publications, she includes the first British translation of a short story by Silvina Ocampo, and her translation of a story by the Venezuelan author Ricardo Waale was chosen for the Short Story translation project. Christina’s translation of Valeria Luiselli’s novel Faces in the Crowd is to be published by Granta in May 2012.
