Amanda Hopkinson's translations include Dead Horsemeat by Dominique Manotti (co-translated with Ros Schwartz, Arcadia 2006); Money to Burn by Ricardo Piglia (Granta, 2003) and Paulo Coelho's Devil and Miss Prym (HarperCollins, 2002), and of transcripts for her monographs on the Latin American photographers Martin Chambi (Phaidon, 2001) and Manuel Alvarez Bravo (Phaidon, 2002). She is currently writing A History of Mexican Photography (Reaktion Books, forthcoming), and co-translating Rodolfo Fogwill's Los Pichiciegos with Nick Caistor (Serpent's Tail, forthcoming).
