Thường Quán is a Melbourne-based poet, translator, poetry editor, former broadcaster for Radio Australia, and IT system analyst at Telstra and IBM. His English-language poetry has appeared in The Saturday Age, HEAT, Cordite, and Peril, among others. With Vagabond Press he has published Years, Elegy (2012)—a chapbook in the Rare Objects series—and Captive and Temporal (2017), an anthology in the Australia series that was shortlisted for both the Kenneth Slessor Prize for Poetry and the Mary Gilmore Award in 2018.
