Ronald Giphart (1965) is the bestselling author of Ik Ook Van Jou; Giph; and Het Feest der Liefde, Philieine Zegt Sorry, de Voorsitter. A great hero for young writers in Holland, he has attracted more young people to literature than anyone. His novels are continually reprinted. Formerly chief editor of Rails, Ronald Giphart has given up this and his other journalistic and media commitments to focus on his writing career. A film of Giphart's novel Philieine Zegt Sorry was made by the Oscar-winning production team behind Antonia's Line.
